Donations
The North Coast Pipe Band would like to thank the following supporters for their contributions to our program.
Dan Evans
A snare drummer in the Grade 3 band, Dan provided supplemental funding for the purchase of a new line of Axial drums.
Dennis Waugh
Dennis Waugh was a former tenor of the Grade 2 band in the early 2000's. He later became head chaplain of The University of Chicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital. When budgetary restrictions left his chapel without an altar, the North Coast Pipe Band built and installed one on site out of donated materials for him. A photo of the altar and letter of gratitude can be viewed here.
Dick Wagner
Dick Wagner was a student piper who went from not being able to string more than a couple of notes together to placing 2nd in his first solo event in grade 5. He has a great love for the North Coast Pipe Band, especially the kids who are learning to play the pipes. He purchased and donated a new set of McCallums to the band for the teaching program. When he was no longer able to play due to declining health, he donated his own personal set of McCallums to the band as well. Dick requested that his donations go to young students in need of pipes. The band is extremely grateful for his generosity.
Mark Lee
Donated a set of bagpipes to the North Coast teaching program.
